Iwobi nominated for Premier League Player of the Month

Alex Iwobi, an Everton midfielder, has been nominated for the English Premier League Player of the Month award for September.

Iwobi has been in excellent form for the Toffees this season, appearing in all seven Premier League games.

He has two assists to his name, the most recent of which led to the lone goal they scored against West Ham on Sunday, their first league victory of the season.

After the game, the 26-year-old was named Man of the Match.

Following his excellent performances this season, Everton have begun talks to offer him a new and improved deal.

Meanwhile, Iwobi is now training with the Super Eagles in Constantine ahead of the prestigious friendly against Algeria.
