The staff of office has been delivered to the new Olubadan, Oba Moshood Olalekan Balogun Ali Okunmade II, as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland by the governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde.
Governor Seyi Makinde, who presented the Staff of Office to the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, prayed for a peaceful and successful reign and advised the Olubadan to be a Father to all.
The coronation celebration, which began on Monday with traditional ceremonies, will conclude today, March 11, in the historic Mapo Town Hall in the Ibadan South-East local government area, with a large number of dignitaries in attendance.
The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo; former Governor of Oyo State, Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja; former Lagos Governor, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, represented by Femi Pedro; Chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum, Dr. Kayode Fayemi; Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, and a host of others were among those in attendance.
