Debo Macaroni has joined Nigerians on the streets of Lagos for the June 12 protests, and he has a lot to say about the Lagos state governor, Babjide Sanwo-Olu.
The comedian has received threats from people who told him not to join the protests. “I have everything on record,” he said, “I will not be a prisoner in my own country!! We deserve better!!!”
He called out Gov. Sanwo-Olu for his involvement in the killing of Nigerians during the #EndSARS protests, adding the the governor has permitted further persecution of Nigerians who take to the streets of Lagos to call out the Buhari regime’s impunity. “Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu! The Governor that sits idle while peaceful protesters are being killed, oppressed and dehumanized in his State. It happened during the #EndSARSProtest , it happened again during the #LekkitollgateProtests now it is happening during #June12thProtest.”
