Hocus Pocus 2 is coming and the Sanderson sisters are set to make a rerurn.
Variety Magazine reports that Bette Middler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy will be releasing their roles in the sequel to the Halloween classic.
In 2020, Disney’s streaming service, Disney + announced a list of classic movies that will be getting remakes and sequels and ‘Hocus Pocus’ made the list.
New details that have emerged reveal that production is set to start this fall and the movie is expected to be released in 2022.
An excited Bette Midler shared the news on her Twitter page on Thursday, May 20.

The second installment of the film will have a different synopsis from the first.
The story will be based on “three young women who accidentally bring the Sanderson sisters back to modern day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on the world.”
The sequel will be directed by Anne Fletcher.
