Kanye West revealed on his Twitter account Tuesday, July 21, to thank comedian Dave Chappelle, who was traveling in a jet to check on him, hours after he angrily attacked his wife Kim Kardashian and mother-in-law Kris Jenner on Twitter in now-deleted tweets .
Kanye’s association with Chappelle at his Wyoming ranch came after reports this morning from Kim Kardashian and family members were alarmed by his Twitter tirade in which he claimed Kim wanted to ‘shut him down’.
On Tuesday, Kanye was delighted to get a visit from his longtime friend, Chappelle.
Posting on Twitter, Kanye captioned the clip: ‘THANK YOU DAVE FOR HOPPING ON A JET TO COME SEE ME DOING WELL DAVE YOU ARE A GOD SEND AND A TRUE FRIEND ALL LOVE.’
In the video, Kanye began: Dave, can you please just make us smile? The world needs some joy, we need a smile.’
When Dave replied, ‘Brotherhood is real. Love is real’, Kanye quickly pointed out with a laugh: ‘Wait a second, I said a smile bro.’
Kanye continued: ‘We need a joke or something to lift our spirits.’
Chapelle said that he was still on his first cup of coffee and needed time to come up with a good joke. "An uplifting joke? You know I don't write them!" he said.
The group with West and Chappelle laughed, and hugged each other before walking out of the frame.

Kanye on Sunday 19, made an emotional speech and broke down in tears as he revealed he and wife Kim Kardashian considered aborting their eldest daughter North.
‘My mum saved my life. My Dad wanted to abort me… My mum saved my life, there would have been no Kanye West because my dad was too busy,’ Kanye told the audience.
‘I almost killed my daughter.’
