Susan Okpe Idoko, the COVID19 Index case in Benue State,
says she wants to go home since she is not sick. A few days ago,
she posted an online video accusing the federal government of arresting her
against her desire after she was allegedly tested for the virus shortly after
her return from the United Kingdom in March.
.
.
Health Minister Osagie Ehanire denied her claim, saying that
she had been tested twice for the virus, and that she tested positive
but did not show any symptoms of viral disease. The minister said he could not
be released because the disease is infectious and that some patients remain asymptomatic.
He said that a third test would be carried out soon and if he turned negative, he would be discharged.
.
.
In a talk with Channels TV at Abuja Isolation Center, Okpe said
she has not been treated since she was isolated because she is not ill.
He added that he does not trust Nigerian doctors. She asks to be allowed to
return to the UK.

No integrity in the numbers of cases posted so far. Yes, there are cases of COVID-19, and I think it is mixed with Malaria patient.

My own take is that if she is still testing positive and probably contagious, don’t let her into the world. There is a reason she has tested positive and not showing symptoms, that should be our concern. The world is still trying to figure out how this novel virus works, she can be a casestudy

You people are infringing this woman's right. Must you force the sickness into her? We know that all these people you have been treating are Malaria and Typhoid patients. We will all see the end of this.

Can you people please stop judging her, the incubation period is 14days. This woman said she came for her mom’s burial which was postponed. Since 22nd of March till now. No symptoms, she said she’s healthy. She can’t even see her kids. Poor woman. All you people can hear is London and not the real gist. Smh . Be a good listener before you jump into conclusions

Bcos she doesn't trust Naija doctors doesn't mean she shd be allowed to go and infect others. Her distrust is the root of her uncooperative attitude, can she behave this way in the UK?
