CAN declares March 22, 29 days of prayer

The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has directed churches in Nigeria to observe Sunday 22 and 29 March, 2020 as days of prayers against the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria and globally.

According to a Press Statement issued on Thursday by the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Samson Ayokunle and signed on his behalf by his Media Assistant, Pastor Adebayo Oladeji, churches are advised to strictly follow the guidelines for combating COVID-19 in all their gatherings as we are trusting God for victory over the plague.

The statement reads in part: “CAN called on all churches in the country to set aside Sunday 22nd and 29th March 2020 apart to pray for an end to Coronavirus Pandemic in Nigeria and all over the world.

“Our prayers should be as follows: (a) That God should stop the spread of coronavirus in Nigeria and all over the world; (b) That God should protect Nigerians from this disease and (c) That God should heal those who have been infected already.  📎 The key is : Learn how to BE HAPPY BY YOURSELF FIRST. Because a human being that is happy on his/her own will never settle to be miserable with someone else. When you find happiness on your own then you will be able to spread it and share it with someone else. #jaiyeorie ... CRITIC ALSO 🖋️ spill TEA ☕ Easy on Shade 💣
