Eminem questioned by Secret Service over violent lyrics about Ivanka Trump

US rapper Eminem was questioned by the Secret Service over violent lyrics about Ivanka Trump in his song Framed. It has been revealed in newly released documents that the Secret Service visited Eminem over 'threatening lyrics' against Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka on his 2017 Revival album.

The agents reportedly visited and spoke with him in January 2018 about his track 'Framed,' which they say showed the star 'exhibiting inappropriate behavior'.

Enimem, real name Marshall Mathers, released the song in 2017, and it contains the lyric: "How the f**k is Ivanka Trump in the trunk of my car?"

He then calls her a "dumb little blonde" and says she "got dumped in the pond".

It's reported that agents visited the rapper and interviewed him in January 2018, but no further action was taken.

Buzzfeed News obtained the records for the case, which say it was opened after a "concerned citizen" reported the lyrics.

But this citizen was actually a TMZ reporter who wanted the agency to comment on the song, after TMZ criticised the lyrics earlier that day.

“I want to know if your agency is investigating Eminem for his threatening lyrics about First daughter Ivanka Trump,” said the reporter.

The record notes that this was not the first time Eminem had used threatening language against the controversial president and his family.
