Shannade Clermont Pleads Not Guilty in Identity/Card Fraud Case

Shannade Clermont Pleads Not Guilty in Identity/Card Fraud Case
Shannade Clermont has pleaded not guilty 2 weeks after she got indicted by a grand jury for allegedly stealing from a dead man.
According to New York Post, the 24-year-old Yeezy Season 6 model appeared in a Manhattan federal court on Monday to enter her plea of “not guilty” in the case in which she got indicted of aggravated identity theft, wire fraud and access-device fraud.
Recall that the model was arrested last month on a slew of charges, which include stealing the debit card of a man who had overdosed and using his identity to ring up thousands of dollars in purchases. The Clermont sister reportedly, in 2017, stole the debit card information after the unnamed man died due to an overdose of cocaine and fentanyl.  Investigators collected his iPhone, and his text messages were recovered directly linking him to Shannade Clermont.
Now, Clermont pleads not guilty and if found convicted, faces 42 years in prison.

She is due back in court October 2.
