The players of Paris Saint-Germain live in "a kind of golden cage" and no club will take the best on Neymar, according to former PSG midfielder Marco Verratti. Donato Di Campli told Tuttosport that PSG stars were playing in a "puppet league". Asked about the speculation linking Neymar to Real Madrid, he said: "No one will ever be able to take Neymar out of PSG, and that also applies to other star players. "They are in a sort of golden cage that they can not leave because their contracts are impossible to match elsewhere. "Therefore, they all remain in the league of puppets that is League 1." Di Campli reflected on his attempts to send Verratti to Barcelona last summer and hit the Italian international for changing his representation at Mino Raiola. "It was the worst experience of my life [trying to get Verratti to Barcelona]," he said. "In our world, there is no recognition - I felt terribly wrong. "For me, Verratti no longer exists, I fought against a club and a state, only to be swept away like a grain of sand." However, Di Campli congratulated Javier Pastore, who saw the interest of Inter Milan in a loan movement rejected by the PSG. "Javier is a fantastic boy," he said. "Obviously, he does not like his limited playing time, but he has contracts in Paris." Pastore has not yet played in a PSG match team this year, but Verratti remains a vital member of the Unai Emery XI team.
