Nelly and Ashanti are celebrating another milestone in their family as their son, Kareem Kenkaide “KK” Haynes, turns 2.
Born on July 18, 2024, Kareem is the couple’s first child together and has been at the centre of their new chapter as husband and wife. The couple have largely kept him away from the spotlight, although Ashanti has occasionally shared glimpses of their life as parents.
Kareem’s second birthday comes a year after his parents went all out for his first. His July 2025 celebration in Long Island, New York, was built around the children’s series Kunda and Friends. Kareem even made an entrance in a miniature white Lamborghini, complete with sunglasses and a crown.
For his 2nd birthday, themed Too Fast , it was a race car extravaganza with a train track , Mickey mouse,mini racetrack, slides, bounce house and other activities for the young guests.
The Eventologist was the event planner for spire,having history from baby shower,first birthday and now this party.
Kareem attended wearing a diamond chain.
Ashanti and Nelly are deeply protective of her son, while the couple never allowed public photos of Kareem, a constant feature of their social-media presence.
This second birthday was any indication, KK’s milestones are likely to come with plenty of personality, family memories and a little celebrity sparkle.
