In Lagos, women’s fashion is actually very diverse and layered, and it’s more accurate to say there is no single “revealing style”—instead there are multiple fashion cultures happening at the same time.
The extra baddie aesthetic has its own dress code: body-conscious silhouettes, strategic exposure, tiny proportions and an outfit designed to photograph just as well as it looks in real life.
Lagos women are not dressing from one rulebook anymore. You can go soft luxury, corporate chic, traditional glam, streetwear or full nightlife baddie — sometimes all in the same city, on the same night.
But this look raises the fashion question: when does “bold” become “too much” — and who gets to decide?
