Tiwa Savage’s Virtual Concert on NPR’s Tiny Desk

Tiwa Savage and the band Alternative Sound have set up shop in the beautiful Jazzhole, a historic vinyl store popular with record collectors for its rarities.

“As much as I would have loved to perform at Bob's office,” she told NPR, “I am truly honored to have captured my session in my hometown of Lagos, Nigeria. The Jazzhole is a happy place for me and I always feel right at home.

With floor-to-ceiling shelves filled with books and albums as a backdrop, it certainly sounds familiar to us, too - reminiscent of the performance booth at NPR's headquarters.

On "Dangerous Love", she talks about matters of the heart, takes a detour to the Reekado Banks single "Like" on which she appeared, before wrapping the set with her latest single, "Koroba", which combines her tongue. native Yoruba to Nigerian Pidgin English, sustained by a lively and pleasant rhythm.
#jaiyeorie 📎 The key is : Learn how to BE HAPPY BY YOURSELF FIRST. Because a human being that is happy on his/her own will never settle to be miserable with someone else. When you find happiness on your own then you will be able to spread it and share it with someone else. ... CRITIC ALSO 🖋️ spill TEA ☕ Easy on Shade 💣
