‘The Women’ movie premiere: Rita Dominic, Omoni, others slay on the red carpet

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Blessing Egbe, on Friday, premiered his highly anticipated new movie 'The Women' in IMAX Cinemas, Lekki, Lagos. The event was fairly colorful, as several celebrities and movie lovers attracted the red carpet. The glamorous event was attended by actors such as Omoni Oboli, Ufuoma McDermott, Kate Henshaw, Femi, Kene Mkpar, Samuel Olatunji (Bigsam), Moses Babatope, Gregory Ojefua, Kalu Ikeagwu, Anthony Monjaro, Lillian Afegbai, Rita Dominic and other hosts. The 'The Women' film follows events that occur when a group of women and their partners decided to go on a weekend. On this flight, a host of malicious women encounter challenging trials that have to face or endure. The story of love, friendship, lies and betrayal leads us all to an interesting way filled with such drama, humor and lesson. The film touches the emotions that the window hall is emotionally filled with a shared view of some people who stand for women and many others for men. Written and produced by Blessing Egbe, The Women include some of Nollywood's top stars, including Kate Henshaw, Omoni Oboli, Ufuoma Mcdermott, Kal Ikeagwu, Femi Branch, Anthony Monjaro, Gregory Ojefua and Lilian Afegbai. The film also features upcoming actors such as Unity Nathan and Roxy Antak. Blessing who is a producer and director of critically acclaimed soap, Lekki Wives said she was her best film. The film will be screened at cinemas across Nigeria from Friday, September 29, 2017. The blessing of Egbe has become a household name for the last few years, with productions like "Two Brides and Babies", "One Room", "This is a Marriage" and more of her credit.
