Festus Keyamo named as one of the 30 successful applicants for the title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
Keyamo is trying the SAN title on his 9th attempt, having previously been overlooked at different stages of the application process. He had been invited for the final interview four times before he was shortlisted for the exercise for the fifth time this year.
The Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC), the body screening and approving applicants to the SAN rank released the list of successful applicants for this year on Thursday.
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo’s brother, Mr Akinlolu Osinbajo joins Festus Keyamo and 28 others on the list.

According to Channels Television, 156 lawyers applied, 72 were shortlisted and only 30 were approved.
Festus Keyamo has taken to social media site, Twitter to celebrate his success, making sure to reference his long journey to the prestigious SAN title.
