Kalakuta Fashion and Arts Show was inspired by Fela’s music and activism for which he is already globally renowned. The mission is to help Africans find Fela from another perspective and in the process, discover themselves also. The pilot edition was staged last year at Kalakuta Museum during #Felabration2014. It was successful hence the impetus to bring it to a wider stage and audience.
Kalakuta Fashion and Arts Show for #Felabration2015 was produced by 9art Interactive Services Limited. It was a creative sync of fashion and drama in the form of a pantomime/runway show with the theme, #FlyLikeFela. 
It held on Saturday 17th October, 2015 at Freedom Park, Broad Street, Lagos from 6:30pm to 8:00pm with some riveting entertainment.
