Nollywood star Toyin Abraham has finally addressed the bombshell allegations made by a fashion designer on Instagram, accusing her and fellow actress Annie Idibia of owing millions for over a year. The designer’s claims caused a stir online, but Toyin is setting the record straight.
In a detailed explanation, Abraham described the issue as a misunderstanding. She shared screenshots of a chat to clarify the situation, explaining that her team had borrowed designer dresses from Tiannah for her movie *Malaika*’s runway scene. Additionally, another designer was brought in by a team member, and Toyin bought a hairpiece from this designer, paying in full.
Regarding the dresses, Abraham clarified that they were only borrowed, used for the shoot, and then returned to her team member, Gabriel. Upon hearing about the accusations, she reached out to Gabriel, who confirmed he had already informed the designer that the dresses were returned and subsequently borrowed by someone else—effectively clearing Toyin of any responsibility.
