Over the last 2 weeks there has been speculations about the state of the royal union between Ooni d'Ife and his Olori following reports that the couple was living in the last 8 months. The Olori, Zaynab Otiti-Obanor has now confirmed that his 17-month marriage with Oeon of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has finished well. She made the disclosure by an official statement on her official page of Instagram on Wednesday morning. She shared an article on Instagram which read in part: "What I can confirm is that Ooni and I are no more. I inspire love and exhale gratitude. My trip continues to help women and victims of domestic violence and abuse with the United Nations. No matter how much time you have invested, no matter how the media uses it to silence and manipulate, no matter what the circumstance, slander, embarrassment, threats and lies: Get out and seek immediate help! "The Ooni married in her extreme Edo married to a traditional marriage elaborated in Benin, the capital of the State of Edo on March 16, 2016. The rites of marriage were made in the traditional culture of Benin to the Residence of the bride on Ewere Street, Etete, in the state government area of Oredo. Although the monarch was not physically present, he was represented by his father, Oluropo Ogunwusi.
