There’s another little Wilson on the way. Ciara and Russell Wilson have announced that they are expecting their fifth child, turning their already busy household into a family of seven.
The couple shared the news with a playful family announcement that included a clothesline displaying the names of their children — Future, Sienna, Win and Amora — alongside a tiny blank onesie for the newest member of the family. Their caption said it all: “One more person to Love ππ½π₯Ίπ€.”
For Ciara and Russell, this isn't simply another celebrity pregnancy announcement. It is another addition to a family that has grown in stages. Ciara shares her eldest son, Future Zahir, with rapper Future, while she and Wilson are parents to Sienna, Win and Amora. The new baby will be Ciara's fifth child and her fourth with Wilson.
And if Ciara's earlier comments are anything to go by, baby number five wasn't entirely unexpected. In July, the singer revealed that Wilson had already raised the possibility of another child not long after Amora's arrival. Her response at the time? “Slow it down.”
Well, apparently they didn't slow it down for long.
The couple have not yet revealed the baby's sex or due date, leaving the newest member of the Wilson family as the only mystery for now.
There is something fitting about the way they chose to announce it, too. Rather than making the pregnancy entirely about Ciara and Russell, the announcement placed their children at the centre of the story. The empty onesie was arguably the sweetest detail: everyone already has a place in the family, and now there is one more name waiting to be added.
Now, “Cinco” is officially on the way. The couple have not announced the baby’s sex or due date.
