Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has reacted to socialite Yhemo Lee’s video about hickey. For those who don’t know, a hickey, or love bite, is a temporary bruise-like mark caused by sucking or biting the skin, often on the neck, which breaks small blood vessels. They are generally harmless, lasting several days, and represent a form of intimate affection. Debbie Shokoya reacts to Yhemo Lee video Yhemo Lee gave his two cents in an Instagram video. He noted how youths like to explore and do things differently; however, he advised them to do a background check before taking part in hickey. The socialite noted how there are people with mental instability who can go extreme with the love bite. “I know that we are in a new generation, which is fantastic. And youths like to explore – to do things that are different from back in the day. I want you to know that you need to do a background check before you allow your partners to give you a hickey. There are people with a history of madness in their family; if you allow such a bite on your neck. One of my friends in the University almost lost his oesophagus and intestines to it. A word is enough for the wise”.
