So apparently, the internet woke up to “Ugly Wife – Wizkid vs Seun Kuti”, and no — before you start searching Spotify — it’s not a song. Shocking, I know.

What it is, however, is another episode of grown men with Wi-Fi and too much free time.

Everything kicked off when Seun Kuti decided to remind the world (again) that Wizkid is not Fela, and that constant comparisons are disrespectful to Afrobeat history. Reasonable point. But of course, this is social media, where reason goes to die.

Enter Wizkid, who chose peace by choosing violence.

Instead of a calm rebuttal, Wizkid went full keyboard warrior and somehow concluded that the best way to defend his legacy was to… insult Seun Kuti’s wife. Because clearly, nothing screams “I’m winning this argument” like dragging someone’s spouse into it.

Naturally, screenshots flew. Blogs rejoiced. Memes were born. Nigerians did what they do best — turned chaos into premium entertainment.

Seun Kuti later responded, expressing shock that a musical argument had somehow evolved into a family roast, pointing out that involving wives in beef is usually not considered a flex.

So, to summarize:
