Toria Eze calls out Chef Tolani and cooking show

So apparently, one Toria Eze has come out to drag Chef Tolani and the cooking and social media is already doing what it does best — talking.

According to posts making the rounds online, Toria Eze alleged that Chef Tolani is not a nice person, claiming that during the cooking show, contestants were treated badly and not even regarded as “human beings.” She didn’t hold back at all, and of course, Nigerians quickly picked it up and started asking questions.

Now, before everybody carries cutlass, it’s important to note that this issue is still mostly social-media gist. No official statement has come from Chef Tolani or the organisers as at the time of writing, and no major media house has confirmed the allegations.

Chef Tolani, on her own, is not new to criticism. She has previously addressed claims about being “harsh” or “condescending” as a judge on cooking shows, insisting that her intentions are always to help contestants grow — even saying she supports some of them financially.

For now, it’s one person’s experience versus silence from the other side. Whether this will blow up into something bigger or quietly die down remains to be seen.
