"This is shameful" - Financial instructor says after seeing "half slice" of bread being sold in supermarket due to economic hardship

Kalu Aja has raised his voice about the tough economic situation in Nigeria. He noticed that some stores are now selling loaves of bread in halves. This change allows people with less money to afford bread. It shows how serious the struggles are for many families. Kalu’s concern highlights the need for better solutions to help those facing hardship.

 

  He called it "shameful and painful" as he addressed the poverty in Nigeria. 

He wrote on X: "This is sachet bread, sold in 234. 

"Omo, this is shameful and painful at the same time 

"I commend the bakery for thinking outside the box. I weep for the eviscerated middle class. 

"If bread is sold in slices and spaghetti in bundles, then the poverty smells like a two weeks dead goat in a beautiful mansion 

"God help you because that's where your only help will come from."
