After losing their match at the present FIFA U20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica, Nigeria's Falconets are stuck in Turkey.

The team was reportedly delayed for 24 hours at the airport in Istanbul and forced to sleep on airport chairs for those who couldn't find a position on one, or on the hard floor.
Sources say that “the situation got worse as they have no transit visa to enable them secure accomodation.”

Additionally, it was discovered that the team only received three pieces of its green home uniform and two sets of its white away uniforms as equipment for the match.
Because of this, the players were unable to interchange jerseys and were required to hand-wash them after every game.

Even worse, the ladies were not provided official boots and were instead required to buy their own sports shoes, despite the fact that the NFF has a supplier for official sports apparel.

The players have to take out loans to pay for Nike shoes and playing boots because they only receive a daily match allowance of $50 and no extras.

Falconets won all three of their games in group C to gain a maximum of nine points, but Netherlands defeated them 2-0 in the quarterfinals to end their laudable performance.
