Nollywood stars Saheed Balogun, Yomi Fabiyi, Shola Kosoko, and Eniola Ajoa joined their colleague Desmond Elliot at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
This comes amid a barrage of attacks from Nollywood artists and celebrities who have aligned themselves with President Muhammadu Buhari's administration.
The Nollywood celebs accepted an invitation to the Lagos State House for a special plenary session in honor of APC National Leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who is celebrating his birthday.
Shola Kosoko, who posted the photographs on Instagram, said, "I honored an invitation among my colleagues to the Special plenary session for the celebration of Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's birthday..." Desmond Elliot was severely chastised on social media for officially endorsing Tinubu's presidential bid.
Desmond Elliot is one of the people Tinubu has aided in securing a political position, so it's no wonder that he's backing him.
Desmond Elliot uploaded a photo of Tinubu with business mogul Femi Otedola at an event on his Instagram page.
Tinubu is ready for the position, according to Elliot, and they are standing by his mandate.
He wrote, "Ready for the job... we will stand on your mandate."
Many Nigerians, however, were unsurprised to learn that Desmond Elliot is backing Tinubu, given how he betrayed the youths during the EndSars rally.
