Pastor Enoch Adeboye has celebrated filmmaker Mike Bamiloye in a remarkable way for his 61st birthday on Tuesday.
Listing some of the movies produced by Bamiloye such as Apoti Eri and The gods must be dead, Adeboye, 79, in a post across social media platforms described Bamiloye as a “general”.
“It is with great joy, and an immense honour I say a Happy Birthday to a General whose mastery of kingdom gift has put the Gospel in the heart of many and faith values in the homes of much more,” he wrote.
“From Captives of the Mighty to Apoti Eri, to Esin Ajoji, Ireti Ogo, The gods must be dead, most recently Abejoye, the endless list is a testament of how much you have given yourself to the work of God.”
“It is a privilege to live in your days as you continue to wax great in strength and vigour. Happy Birthday @mikebamiloye, God bless you abundantly in JESUS name (Amen),” Adeboye added.
Bamiloye and his wife Gloria produced movies that captivated their audience in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Although not a pastor, Bamiloye is highly respected among Pentecostals as a drama evangelist. He is also the founder and president of Mount Zion Faith Ministries and Mount Zion Television.
