The Los Angeles Police Department has reportedly opened an investigation into the elevator altercation between Quavo and Saweetie after their public split.
This comes 2 days after a video showing the ex-couple getting into a physical altercation inside an elevator surfaced online.
In the minute-and-a-half-long clip released by TMZ, Saweetie was seen swinging at Quavo at an apartment complex in North Hollywood, as they struggle for an orange Call of Duty case.
According to TMZ, LAPD detectives have seen the video of the now ex-couple fighting over a video game console box, and want to meet with both parties, separately, to discuss what went down.
The publication said the situation could be considered an instance of domestic violence, where both parties are guilty.
The report also said police want to determine what happened before and after the elevator surveillance footage was captured.
