The Regent of Iboropa in Akoko Ondo State, Tinuade Babalola has revealed that she is forbidden to have a romantic affair while on the throne.The regent ascended the throne on February, 23, 2015, shortly after Oba Emmanuel Ayowole Adejuyigbe her father, passed on. At the time, she was a young girl who was trying to get a grip on life, an undergraduate, who just got admitted into the university.

The youngest female monarch in Nigeria and the first female monarch of Iboropa Akoko, replied this in a Question and Answer session with her followers. Babalola was asked if she’s allowed to have a boyfriend or get married while on the throne, said in response that she is not allowed to have a boyfriend throughout her reign.
