Ray J and Princess Love were able to set their difference aside to celebrate their daughter Melody Norwood’s 2nd birthday amid a divorce. The "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" couple tied the knot in August 2016 and their relationship was rocky before they tied the knot.

Princess revealed she had plan on filing divorce papers after the "Sexy Can I" singer left her (while she was pregnant) and her daughter at an airport in Las Vegas.
She made good on that promise when she filed divorce papers on May 5th.
In the divorce filing, Princess cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. She recently filed for full custody of their two children - Melody (2) and Epik (4 months) - and she's also asking the court to force him to pay child support.
The Blast reports that the amount of money to be split between the couple is "to be determined," which signals the ex's having to split some marital assets.
Despite all of the divorce drama, Ray called Princess a supermom and said they're currently just focusing on being co-parents to their children.

"I'm back with the kids right now so I'm just really excited about my daughter's birthday coming up this weekend," Ray J said. "Over these past few months, though, I've been at the studio locked in. I was at the studio right around when everything got locked down. Before I came home, I had to quarantine for 14 days. My wife has been supermom, and she wasn't having that so she just wanted to make sure that I was good. We're taking it one day at a time."
