Man demands 9.8Million from ex-girlfriend after she dumped him to marry Nigeria Customs Service Boss

2 days after Nigeria’s Custom Service boss, Hameed Ali, tied the knot with his new wife Hajiya Zainab Abdullahi Yahaya, her former boyfriend identified as Zubairu Dalhatu Malamai, has come out to make demands for the money he spent on her while they were in a relationship.

Some court documents has surfaced online in which Malamai through his lawyers claimed that he had been in a relationship with Yahaya for about three years.

Malami said during the 3 years of dating, he invested a lot of things into the relationship because Yahaya promised to marry him.

The document further stated that while Malamai extends his congratulations to Yahaya in her new home, he is displeased with the way she took up an unnecessary fight with him few days to getting married to her new man.

Malamai through his lawyers demanded a refund of money given out to his ex-lover as business loans, shop and house rents, flight tickets, personal loans which all runs to the tune of N9, 081, 207.45. Similarly, Yahaya’s ex-lover also demanded that she returns company laptops, ID cards, uniforms, luggage among other things in her possession.

Hameed Ali married Yahaya in a low-key ceremony which took place in Kano state, on Saturday, May 30th.
The marriage came two years after his first wife, Hajiya Hadiza Jummai Ali, died in Abuja on October 29, 2018.
