VIDEO : Death Of NSCDC Officer

Following the death of an officer of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Assistant Superintendent, Ogar Jumba over altecation that resulted from a traffic violation incident at Nyanya Federal Capital Territory, Abuja Nigeria, the Police has given details on how the officer died after committing traffic violation.




Addressing journalists in a joint press conference by Spokespersons of the Armed Forces and the Police on the just concluded and the forthcoming supplementary elections at the Defense Headquarters today in Abuja, Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Frank Mba said the incident happened at about 9 am.
He said the NSCDC official was driving with his wife when he violated traffic regulations and was stopped by two traffic warden officers.

Mba added that on contravention, the NSCDC officer himself, who was putting on a civil shirt on top of his NSCDC trouser, drove himself with the traffic warden officers to the Nyanya Police Station, saying that it was while he was being asked questions and he was responding that he suddenly collapsed.
According to him, an autopsy will be conducted on the corpse in the presence of his family particularly, his wife and doctors from the NSCDC to determine that cause of death and it will be made public.

The Force PRO also said the Commissioner of Police, FCT, personally visited the hospital to ascertain things for himself where he was told by medical personnel that there was nothing like gunshot wound on the body of the deceased officer.
Meanwhile, the two traffic warden officers have been arrested and will be investigated over the incident Mba said, pointing out that the Police and NSCDC have a very good working relationship which has blossomed over the years. 📎 🤔COMMENT BELOW...
