The Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode has stated that buildings within the vicinity of the collapsed building at Ita-Faji, on Lagos Island where over 100 school pupils are reportedly trapped, would be subjected to integrity tests.
Ambode, whom was reported to have arrived at the scene at exactly 2:45pm said that if any of the buildings failed the integrity test, it would be demolished.
"But the most important thing now is to save more lives before we talk about dealing with the culprit" he added. .
