Terry Crews filed a criminal complaint against talent agent Adam Venit, but the case was dismissed by both L.A. County D.A. and L.A. City Attorney. Sources say that the DA dismissed the felony affair, in which Crews claimed that Venit seized his junk at an industry party. The reason for this rejection is that the incident "was prohibited by the statute of limitations" since it took place in February 2016. The statute of limitations for an offense is 1 year, and although it dealt with criminal charges the incident did not constitute a crime charge if the case was thrown. Instead, Crews goes ahead with a civil lawsuit against the talent agent.
