The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) states that it has established a branch office in Lambati in Gurara's Niger local government for effective monitoring.
State Secretary of the FRSC Sector, Mr. Yusuf Garba, said it in an interview with the Nigerian news agency in Minne on Thursday.
He said he had already secured a patrol vehicle and effective communication devices for smooth office operations.
He explained that the Lambata office would effectively monitor the behavior and behavior of road users of specially articulated vehicles.
He said the staff in the lobby would supervise vehicle drivers from indiscriminate parking on the highway.
He called on road users to adhere to traffic rules and regulations to avoid unnecessary road crashes.
“We have already embarked on a 24 hours patrol on all the federal high ways to ensure safety of road users by enforcing traffic rules and regulations,” he said.
