....... D’Banj Says There is No Piracy in Nigeria Because He has Never Been Pirated

D’banj said thisin a chat at the inaugural edition of Music Week Africa at the Nigerian Stock Exchange in Lagos.
The Tongolo crooner said he thinks piracy doesnt exist because he had never been pirated. he said Alaba Market copies are sold together with the original CDs.

“Nigeria is the only country in the world that does not have piracy,” he said, quoted by The Cable., D’banj said “As far as I’m concerned, I’ve never been prated because it’s the same place they are selling original that they are selling the fake CDs,” he said.
And when asked if e-music is a better market for his works, he quipped, “The money is everywhere. Everyone is playing their own role. The market is here”.
