“The stigma and reputation she set for him will never be erased” – Do2dtun weighs in on Tonto Dikeh’s open apology to ex, Olakunle Churchill

#jaiyeorie Nigerian media personality Do2dtun has reacted to actress Tonto Dikeh’s public apology to her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill. Dikeh shared her reflections after ten years of conflict, revealing that God intervened in their relationship. She expressed gratitude to Churchill for embracing peace and prayed that their renewed relationship would be grounded in God's mercy. In a now-deleted Twitter post, Do2dtun shared his perspective, asserting that Tonto is not the victim in this situation, despite her act of forgiveness. He suggested that it is Churchill who would benefit from forgiving her. Do2dtun wished Dikeh’s apology had been more detailed, noting that the labels and stigma she placed on Churchill might never fade. He stated, “In my opinion, Tonto is not the victim here. Yes, she forgave, but I think if anyone needs to forgive anyone here, it’s Churchill. I wished her forgiveness note was fully detailed; addressing the labels & tags because the stigma & reputation she set for that man will never ever be erased.” However, he also expressed admiration for her courage, saying that Dikeh’s apology was a difficult step to take and that his respect for her had grown as a result. “Tonto’s latest post about Churchill is the hardest thing to do. My respect for her just rose. Forgiveness is a hard road to ply. I hope we all get there. Ah! This one shock me,” he added.
