"Charly Boy Slams Pastor Adeboye After Shocking Tithing Confession – Is the RCCG Leader’s Apology Too Little, Too Late?"

#jaiyeorie
Charly Boy has come out swinging against Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the influential leader of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), after the pastor’s surprising admission regarding his teachings on tithing.

During the RCCG's annual national youth convention at Redemption City, Adeboye made a startling confession—he admitted that a previous statement he had made about tithing wasn’t entirely accurate. The shocking revelation has sent ripples through the Christian community, especially since tithing has long been a cornerstone of Adeboye’s teachings.

Charly Boy, known for his outspoken nature, didn't waste time in reacting to Adeboye's apology. The controversial entertainer has sharply criticized the pastor, calling out what he sees as inconsistencies in Adeboye’s messages over the years. Charly Boy’s comments have fueled an already heated debate, with some rallying to defend the pastor, while others are questioning the long-standing tradition of tithing in Nigerian churches.

This is just the beginning of what could be a major conversation within the religious community—how will Adeboye's followers respond to this bold admission?
Charly Boy speaks on pastor Adeboye

“I am going to apologise for making a mistake for saying that if you don’t pay tithe, you will not be making it to Heaven. That is wrong. That is not in the Bible. What the Bible says is to make peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see God.”

While Adeboye’s apology drew mixed reactions, Charly Boy was not impressed. He took to social media, stating that the apology “doesn’t mean shit” unless Adeboye promises to return the tithes he collected over the years.

In a fiery post, Charly Boy wrote:

“I truly believe that a lot of the fakest people are found in churches, my opinion not yours. Your apology doesn’t mean shit unless you promise to return the tithe money they give you for mumu people wey wan bribe dia way to heaven.”

He continued, criticizing what he views as hypocrisy in the church:

“Stop giving ur CONGREGATION ridiculous Lamba’s. Sometimes the nicest people you meet may have bodies covered with tattoos, the most bitter, judgemental, envious and wicked people all go to church on Sundays.”

Charly Boy also referenced a past statement from Adeboye, saying:

“Since your announcement decades ago, that people should trow away their TVs, I had always known that your way no pure as person wey dey ‘drink tea with God’.”

He further accused religious leaders of being insincere:

“There is nothing worse than a fault-finding finger-pointing Pastor who is as fake as the blings of a wanna-be artist. Apology? When you know exactly what you’re doing. Nonsense Dia Father’s.”
