Pastor Enoch Adeboye had taken to the micro-blogging platform, X, to pray for Israelis while wishing peace on their land in this trying time of theirs. However, the clergyman’s prayer was met with severe backlash from Nigerians who argued that the Jews are neither Christians nor do they respect Christianity in any way. These claims were backed by multiple videos of Israelis inciting Christians publicly. The revered preacher has since taken down the video across all his social media pages, including those reposted on the RCCG’s official handles.
