Banky W shuts down rumours of beef with Wizkid as he storms his mother’s funeral (Video)

Contrary to rumors, Banky W, the former head of a music record company, and Wizkid, a former signee, appear to still be in contact.

Banky W was unexpectedly present at the Grammy singer's mother's memorial service on Friday night, which attracted a large number of celebrities.

With his attendance at the celebrity-studded celebration, the former E.M.E CEO dispelled rumors that he had a grudge against the artist.

In internet videos, Banky W can be seen wearing a white agbada and grinning for the cameras. Adesua Etomi, the singer's wife, was conspicuously missing from the event.

His presence is evidence that Banky W and Wizkid, a previous signee, are on good terms.

A year back, Wizkid had hinted at a fallout with Banky as he publicly cut ties with him by unfollowing him on social media.

Banky W had an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on the BlackBox interview series, where he admitted that he was disappointed with the former EME signee for not showing up at his wedding.

He also went on to claim that the singer owed his record label 3 albums.
