Mary Remmy Njoku, an actress and producer, sent a caution on her Instagram page to single women looking for dates with guys who will be coming home for Christmas from abroad.
The mother of three posted the caution on her social media website while sharing her own experience with a returnee who had been living overseas at the time.
She claimed that the returnee who had expressed interest in her tried to trick her with many lies and an odd accent, but she was uninterested in his proposal.
Later it emerged that he was not the lawyer he had claimed to be, but rather a barber in the UK.
Years later, when she ran into him at a barbershop in the UK, he was unable to meet her eyes.
Mrs. Njoku, the founder of the ROK TV Channels and CEO of ROK Studios, warned women not to fall for them during this festive season and said that sapa was a universal experience that everyone went through. She is also the CEO of ROK Studios.
