The arrest of a wanted drug baroness, Bridget Oghenekevwe Emeka, a.k.a Mama, by agents of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has shattered the suspected backbone of a significant cartel supplying drugs in Delta and neighboring states.
The 59-year-old suspect was detained on Sunday, May 15, at her magnificent estate where she prepares and distributes Crack Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and other illicit narcotics, according to Femi Babafemi, Director, Media & Advocacy, NDLEA.

The 59-year-old suspect was detained on Sunday, May 15, at her magnificent estate where she prepares and distributes Crack Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and other illicit narcotics, according to Femi Babafemi, Director, Media & Advocacy, NDLEA.
Five of her employees who cook, cut, package, and distribute the narcotics were arrested in her home in Favour Street, Otukutu, Effurun Warri, while four of her associates were arrested at her drug bunks in different parts of town during raids by NDLEA Strike Force officers backed by the military.
After being identified as a significant distributor of illicit drugs in the South South state, the drug baroness has been under investigation for weeks.

Sodium bicarbonate, the key adulterant and recipe for creating crack cocaine, as well as translucent nylon used in the production of crack cocaine, were among the items discovered from her home.
