How time flies! Fans can’t believe it’s been 20 years since Agbani Darego won the coveted title of Miss World.
The former beauty queen and mother of two reminsced the moment on social media, sharing a clip from the moment she was announced Miss World on November 16, 2021.
Strutting in the beautiful Frank Oshodi emerald dress and the winning smile from her 18-year-old self which charmed the judges an the rest of the world, Agbani captioned the clip,
“20 Years today! Forever thankful for the experience @missworld.”
Agbani Darego was the first indigenous African contestant to be crowned Miss World and is the only Nigerian to hold the exalted position till date.
