Evaristo has some words for Piers Morgan, who recently hopped onto his platform to diss Naomi Osaka and, of course, Meghan Markle.
Recall that Osaka withdrew from the French Open after being fined for boycotting the press conference; she had spoken up about her struggle with her mental health, and how such conferences only make athletes feel terrible.
Sadly, she got fined $15,000 and was threatened with dismissal from the event, and so she decided to withdrew from the competition.
While the world stood in support for her, Piers Morgan inserted himself and, as expected, dragged Meghan Markle’s name into the mix. And the world has been reading him for filth ever since.
“Piers Morgan rips into her,” said Evaristo on her Twitter today, adding, “Just when people are opening up about their mental health issues in greater numbers for the first time in history, he’s attacking them, eg: two women of colour, because he knows he’s got the racist misogynists backing him. What a troll.”
