Inter Milan thrashed Benevento 4-0 at the San Siro. Inter took the lead through Improta's own goal. Lukaku scored twice after a Martinez strike to complete the rout.

Inter cement their position in second in the table, hauling Milan's lead at the top back to two points. While Benevento stay 12th, albeit with a dented goal difference.
