Trump has admitted for the first time that President-elect Joe Biden will become the next president of the United states after Congress affirmed victory.
In a nearly 3-minute video, Trump who spoke from the White House on
Thursday January 7, started by condemning Capitol Hill invasion carried
out by his supporters on Wednesday.
He said a "new administration will be
inaugurated on January 20th" but declined to mention President-elect Joe
Biden by name.
"A new administration will be inaugurated on Jan. 20," Trump said in the
video. "My focus now turns to ensuring a smooth, orderly and seamless
transition of power. This moment calls for healing and reconciliation."
