According to SaharaRepoters, Babajide who is the Secretary of the Response Fund Committee on COVID-19 has since gone into self-isolation.
“The governor’s son is already in self-isolation as required by the guidelines of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control,” the news outlet reported.
On June 30, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu revealed he tested positive for COVID-19 in a state broadcast and revealed he recovered barely a week later. He was the fifth incumbent governor to test positive for the ravaging disease.
