CeCe Valencia & Councilmembers Curren Price & Herb Wesson held a press conference to honor Kobe on Mamba Day (8/24) and announce Kobe Bryant Blvd.
CeCe Valencia,radio host on 93.5 KDAY, point guarded the press conference and kicked off the festivities with some interesting facts about Kobe’s career.
She shared how impressed she was when she first heard Kobe speak Spanish.
Shout out to the Lysol lady who sprayed the mic down for each speaker.
Councilmen Curren Price took the podium next and talked about Kobe’s legacy and how it is only right to honor that legacy.

He stated that Kobe Bryant Blvd. would extend from Olympic Blvd. down to King, renaming a stretch of Figueora.
Councilmen Herb Wesson is a very energetic little fella who spoke on Kobe’s heart and his compassion for others.
Herb shared his beautiful imagination as he expressed how the LAKERS will win the chip, this year, and have the first Championship Parade on Kobe Bryant Blvd.
