Horror as TV host praises white twin for inheriting fair skin while ignoring black sister
Australian TV host appeared to congratulate an identical twin for her fair skin while ignoring her black sibling has been condemned after it resurfaced on Twitter.

Lucy and Maria Aylmer are non-identical twin sisters who display a rare genetic anomaly.

While Maria was born her half Jamaican mum's brown skin, Lucy inherited the fair skin of her father.

In the 2015 interview on breakfast show Sunrise, Samantha Armytage described the appearance of the siblings, then aged 18, and commented “Good on her!”after telling how Lucy has fair skin.

But she made no comment after telling of Maria's genetics.

Now Twitter users have branded the presenter's comments as “racist” and “offensive” after a clip of the post was shared.

On person said: "Omg. I literally froze like wtf when she said “good on her”. That’s like deep rooted embedded racism. To the point where you don’t even realise you’re racist, it’s just become a part of you. Shook."

Another said: "As an Aussie, I can say this is utterly embarrassing and appalling but coming from @sunriseon7 this is not surprising. Racist morning show."

A third added: These people are the worst kind of racists because they really don’t think they are.

Twitter user Wolverine reshared the clip and the post has been shared more than 16,000 times.

He wrote alongside the controversial clip: "Can't believe this was said on Australian national TV."

The presenter was also called "racist" by many social media users soon after the show aired.  📎 The key is : Learn how to BE HAPPY BY YOURSELF FIRST. Because a human being that is happy on his/her own will never settle to be miserable with someone else. When you find happiness on your own then you will be able to spread it and share it with someone else. ... CRITIC ALSO 🖋️ spill TEA ☕ Easy on Shade 💣
