The #COVID - 19 Pandemic has seen a lot of us engaging in humanitarian efforts to cushion the effects of the #lockdown in most nations across the world. It is the RIGHT thing to do. However, we should ensure that we do not make our good deeds a “one off” gesture but we should continue to make a conscious effort to sustain the tempo and make it a LIFETIME habit. We should constantly reach out to the less-privileged amongst us in and out of season because there in lies our humanity. Since the year 2015, THE AKD Foundation, my NGO has been feeding, clothing and educating displaced children and orphans across my home country - Nigeria. We have had to do so much more for them during this period to limit their exposure to #coronavirus I am compelled to share this journey with you as its something that i am very passionate about. In February of this year we embarked on a new project “PROJECT LOVE”. Here is a short video from our visit. Because a human being that is happy on his/her own will never settle to be miserable with someone else.
When you find happiness on your own then you will be able to spread it and share it with someone else.
