This comes after the global streaming giant announced the official launch of Netflix Naija on social media with a snap of the Nigerian film industry’s most notable filmmakers and actors.
Accor, Netflix is currently developing 2 unnamed Nigerian original series, one of them being an Akin Omotoso project. The yet-to-be-titled project is a 6-part series directed by Akin alongside Daniel Oriahi and CJ Obasi.
It will be set in Lagos, will follow the story of Kemi, a female deity who reincarnates as a human in a bid to avenge the death of her sister.
